The Pebbles Connecting the Stones to Europe

The Stone Circle at Trout Lake Abbey is magically connected to many of the sacred places in Ireland, England, and Wales. I went on a pilgrimage there in November of 2009 and visited many sacred sites, and while there I would pick up a pebble or two from the car park or from the general vicinity of the site to bring home.

Some of these pebbles found their way into small, circular boxes that were placed under the great stones of the circle. Below is a map of the circle and the outlying standing stones, with numbers indicating where the pebbles in each reliquary came from, listed below the map.
